What does this job entail?

In order to trade in the financial markets in a sound manner, thoughtful risk management is indispensable. As Counterparty Credit Risk Manager, you play an important role in this.

The team you strengthen - Group Risk - supports KBC's dealing room activities in various ways:

• We measure, monitor and report on counterparty credit risk.
• We provide management with an integrated, economic view of risks.
• We provide advice and support on business proposals dealing with risk & capital management.
• We participate in projects related to risk.
• We measure, monitor and report on valuation adjustments (xVA).
• So, together with your colleagues, you take on important responsibilities in an environment that never gets boring.

What do we expect from you?

• You will analyse new regulations and implement them in our operations.
• You perform analyses on counterparty credit risk. You report the results of your findings to internal and external stakeholders.
• You build a good working relationship with your colleagues on the business side, traders and dealers of the KBC dealing room. This way, you become a reliable partner for them.

Requisiti :

Your key strengths?

• You have a first experience in risk. Ideally, you also have a master's degree in economics or mathematics.
• You look forward to deepening your knowledge and sharing it with your colleagues.
• You work very fluently with Excel and SQL. Do you also know Python? Even better!
• Thanks to your good quantitative skills, you understand complex methodologies.
• You communicate strongly in English, both in writing and orally. This is necessary to work smoothly with all internal and external stakeholders.
