The Risk Management Division at Euroclear is an essential pillar supporting the organization’s strategic goals. The division plays a critical role in ensuring that Euroclear remains a leader in the financial industry by providing robust, independent assessments and oversight of risk-taking activities across the Group.

Our division covers the entire Euroclear group. As part of our team, you will join around 100 dedicated risk professionals who are based in cities such as Brussels, London, Paris, Hong Kong, and Krakow. In addition, you will collaborate with talented colleagues from various departments, including Credit, Treasury, Finance, and Financial Risk Controls. This collaboration ensures that we maintain a comprehensive and integrated approach to managing risks.

Die Funktion :

In this role, the candidate will:
• Identify, measure, report, and appropriately address or escalate financial risks to Senior Management.
• Prepare risk reports and dashboards to senior management and relevant committees, highlighting the key risk drivers, trends, and issues.
• Provide risk advisory and support to business units and other risk functions on financial risk matters, such as risk appetite, limit setting, and new product development.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Participate in risk projects and initiatives, such as ad-hoc reports and analysis in the domain of financial risks, data quality improvement and risk culture promotion.
• Conduct Financial risk assessments, and providing a 2nd line risk financial risk management opinion as required.

Votre profil :

Technical and soft skills:

We are looking for candidates who have:
• A bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Up to 5 years of experience or knowledge in financial risk management, preferably within the banking or financial services sector or a consulting firm.
• Strong communication skills in English, suitable for a professional environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
• The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment, managing multiple deadlines and stakeholders effectively.
